Editorial Process

The editorial process at the International Journal of Advanced Medical and Clinical Therapeutics (IJAMCT) is meticulously designed to uphold the highest standards of scholarly quality and integrity. It encompasses several key stages:

  • Initial Submission: The process begins when authors submit their manuscripts through our online submission system. Each submission is first assessed by the editorial board to ensure that it falls within the journal's scope and meets our initial quality and format requirements. This preliminary review focuses on the manuscript’s relevance to the field of medical and clinical therapeutics and its alignment with the journal's objectives.
  • Preliminary Assessment: Manuscripts that pass the initial review are then subjected to a more detailed preliminary assessment. During this stage, the editorial team evaluates the manuscript for its scientific merit, originality, and potential impact. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are returned to authors with constructive feedback for improvement or rejection.
  • Peer Review: Manuscripts that advance past the preliminary assessment are sent out for peer review. This involves selecting expert reviewers well-versed in the specific field of study covered by the manuscript. The reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as scientific validity, methodological rigor, originality, and relevance. The review process is typically blind, meaning that reviewers do not know the identity of the authors, and vice versa, to ensure impartiality.
  • Reviewer Feedback: After the peer review is completed, reviewers provide feedback and recommendations to the editorial team. This feedback may include suggestions for revisions, additional experiments, or clarifications. The editorial team carefully considers these recommendations and decides whether to accept the manuscript as is, request revisions, or reject it.
  • Revisions: If revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the authors with detailed feedback from the reviewers. Authors are given the opportunity to address the comments and make necessary revisions. They must resubmit the revised manuscript along with a response to the reviewers’ comments, explaining how they have addressed each point.
  • Final Evaluation: Once the revised manuscript is received, it undergoes a final evaluation by the editorial team and, if necessary, may be sent back to the original reviewers for further assessment. The editorial team reviews the changes to ensure that all concerns have been adequately addressed and that the manuscript meets the journal’s standards for publication.
  • Decision and Publication: After final review, the editorial team makes a publication decision. Accepted manuscripts undergo a thorough copy-editing process to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to the journal’s style guidelines. The final version is then proofread and typeset before being published in the journal. Authors are provided with proof for final approval before the article is made available to the public.
  • Ongoing Communication: Throughout the editorial process, the editorial team maintains open communication with the authors to provide updates and address any queries. Our goal is to support authors in producing a high-quality final manuscript that contributes significantly to the field of medical and clinical therapeutics.

By adhering to this rigorous editorial process, IJAMCT aims to ensure that each publication contributes valuable insights and advances knowledge within the medical and clinical community.
